No call-out mystery. Here is how we charge, what is included and what changes the price. Your exact rate comes with your quote, usually within hours.

How we quote
- Tell us bedrooms, both addresses, your date and any large or heavy items
- We match a truck (20, 30 or 42 cubic metres) and crew size to your move
- You get the hourly rate, a fixed travel fee and a time estimate in writing
- Time starts when we arrive at your door and ends when the last item is placed
Every hourly rate includes
- Truck, driver and the movers
- Blankets, straps and cling wrap for furniture
- Trolleys and a tail-lift truck
- Furniture disassembly and reassembly
- Loading, driving and unloading into the rooms you choose
Quoted separately, always before the day
- Travel and fuel fee
- A fixed amount per job that covers getting the truck to you and back. Shown on your quote.
- Extra movers
- A third or fourth mover speeds up larger homes. Priced per mover per hour.
- Stairs
- A small per-floor charge for walk-ups without a lift.
- Pianos, stone benchtops, spa pools, safes
- Quoted individually so there are no surprises.
- Packing service and materials
- Boxes, paper and a full packing service available on request.
What affects the final price
- How much you have: bedrooms, and any large or heavy items
- Access: lifts, stairs, driveway parking and the distance from door to truck
- Distance between the two addresses
- How ready you are: packed boxes and disassembled furniture save time

Pricing questions
Is there a minimum charge?
Small jobs are welcome. Your quote confirms the minimum booking for the truck you need.
When does the clock start?
When the crew arrives at your pickup address. The drive from our Westgate depot is covered by the travel fee, not the hourly rate.
Why not publish a full price list?
Because the right truck and crew change the rate, and we would rather give you a number that is correct for your move than a table you have to interpret. Send the form and you will have your rate in writing within hours.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer or cash when the job is done. A GST invoice is provided for every move.
Do long distance moves cost by the hour?
No. Moves out of Auckland are quoted as a fixed price for the whole job, including the ferry for the South Island.
