The right truck
20, 30 or 42 cubic metre trucks matched to your home, from a one-bedroom apartment to a five-bedroom house.
Protective wrapping
Blankets, cling wrap and straps for furniture, appliances and anything fragile. Drawers can stay full.
Furniture disassembly
Beds, dining tables, wardrobes and desks taken apart and reassembled at the other end.
Loading and unloading
Tail-lift trucks and trolleys. Items placed in the rooms you choose, not left at the door.
Packing help
Boxes, tape and a full packing service if you would rather not pack yourself.
Short-term storage
Between settlement dates? Ask about holding your goods for a few days.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to move house in Auckland?
Most Auckland house moves we do land between NZ$300 and NZ$1,000 all in, excluding GST. That covers the truck, the crew, blankets and wrapping and the fixed travel fee. A one-bedroom apartment is usually NZ$300 to 450 and takes two to three hours; a three-bedroom house is usually NZ$700 to 1,000 and takes three to five. Send the quote form with your bedroom count and you get your own number in writing.
Do I need to empty my drawers?
No. Chests of drawers are wrapped and moved with the contents in place. We only ask that you remove valuables, liquids and anything breakable.
Are you insured?
Brothers Movers is a registered New Zealand company with a Transport Service Licence (TSL) and public liability cover, so damage to walls, floors or fittings during the move is covered. Your belongings we protect by hand rather than by policy: blankets, cling wrap and straps on every piece, beds and tables taken apart and rebuilt, and the same care we would want for our own.
Do you move on weekends?
Yes, seven days a week. Weekend and end-of-month dates book out first, so get in touch early.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Auckland, from our base in Westgate. West Auckland, the North Shore and the central suburbs are our most common jobs, and we also do long distance moves anywhere in New Zealand.
